Although they may be cheaper, they have limited play value and often break quickly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFurthermore, they limit the amount of Creative Open-ended Play which is necessary to develop the mind of the child during critical windows of accelerated development which are common in early childhood. These are windows of opportunity for parents and educators to provide the best possible learning environment.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDiscoveroo products are designed to encourage more Creative Play. They stir up the imagination but the outcomes are not predetermined. For young children, seeing how a toy works is an important part of understanding the world.
